The meeting point for the logistics sector

SIL Barcelona once again closed an edition that firmly established it as one of the world’s leading trade fairs for Logistics, Transportation, Intralogistics, and Supply Chain, and the top reference point in Spain, the Mediterranean, and the Atlantic region. With 15,134 visitors and 650 participating companies, the internationalisation rate reached 30%. This figure reflects the fair’s strong convening power and its ability to attract talent year after year through a strategy focused on business, networking, and knowledge with an international perspective. SIL Barcelona consolidated its position as the key meeting point for the sector. Nearly 250 events organised by participating companies brought together senior executives and logistics managers.

AI as the main driver of innovation

AI was one of the stars of the show. Thanks to the virtual assistant SILvIA and the Intelligent Agenda integrated into the SIL Virtual AI Platform, exhibiting companies and visitors were able to resolve queries and receive personalised recommendations for events, sessions, and meetings based on their interests. In its ongoing commitment to driving innovation, SIL featured a strong presence of start-ups presenting the most cutting-edge solutions applied to the logistics sector. These emerging companies once again had the Startup Meeting Area, where they shared their solutions with exhibitors and visitors. Start-ups based in the Logistics 4.0 Incubator were also present at SIL with their own booths. Finally, the SIL 2025 Awards for Best Innovation ceremony honoured two logistics solutions: Port Virtual Lab (Escola Europea–Intermodal Transport) and the AI Platform for optimisation and predictive analysis in logistics by SISLOG.
